Ian Love - Managing Partner
Ian Love is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years international business experience in the Asia Pacific Region. His deep area of expertise is executive remuneration, which includes policy development, plan design, compliance reviews and global implementation of executive compensation programs.
Ian was the Regional Head of Executive Compensation and Benefits of Credit Suisse Asia Pacific until September 2013, having joined Credit Suisse - Singapore in 1999. During this time his responsibilities included the establishment of Global Centers of Excellence service delivery operations in India, Singapore and Poland. Other responsibilities included the development of the Group Compensation Policy and Implementation Standards and acting a Asia Pacific lead for the Global Compensation and Benefits Management Committee.
From 1992 to 1999, Ian worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers – Hong Kong where he was a Senior Manager responsible for Corporate and Executive taxation advice. His responsibilities included advising clients on the development and expansion of operations in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific Region. Ian was also instrumental with the establishment of PricewatehouseCooper’s office in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Ian established Sherwood Love & Associates in September 2013 to provide Independent Governance and Remuneration Consulting services. As a confidential and independent advisor Ian helps guide clients through the highly sensitive issues surrounding the remuneration programs of senior executives.
